📝 Vendor Terms & Conditions – DumboCart India

Welcome to DumboCart! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the DumboCart Vendor Portal and your participation as a seller on our platform.

By registering as a vendor, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. Vendor Eligibility

To become a vendor on DumboCart, you must:

Be 18 years or older
Own or represent a legitimate business – (individual or registered)
Be capable of selling and shipping live or non-live products in India
Provide accurate bank, PAN, and contact details for verification and payouts

2. Product Guidelines

You may list products related to:

Live freshwater/aquarium fish (non-invasive, non-banned species only)
Indoor and outdoor plants (including aquatic, succulents, cacti, ferns, etc.)
Planters, tools, accessories, and related goods

Prohibited items include:

Endangered or banned species
Wildlife without required permits
Products violating local, state, or national laws

DumboCart reserves the right to reject or remove any product listing at our discretion.

3. Product Quality & Packaging

Vendors are responsible for:

Accurate descriptions and clear images
Healthy, pest-free plants and ethically sourced fish
Secure, weather-safe, and species-appropriate packaging
Marking live/delicate shipments clearly

Live items must be shipped with adequate oxygen, moisture, and insulation as needed.

4. Order Fulfillment & Shipping

Orders must be processed and shipped within 1–3 business days.
Vendors may use their own courier partners or opt for DumboCart’s logistics (where available).
Live items must be shipped Mon–Wed to avoid weekend delays.
Tracking details must be updated within 24 hours of dispatch.

Delayed, poor, or unsafe shipping practices may result in temporary suspension.

5. Returns, Refunds & DOA (Dead on Arrival)

You agree to honor DumboCart’s return/refund policy for:

Damaged, dead, or incorrect items (especially live stock)
Late shipments or items not as described

For DOA cases, photographic/video proof may be required. Refunds will be processed at your cost unless otherwise agreed.

6. Commission & Payouts

DumboCart may charge a commission per sale as low as 1% (percentage based; shared during onboarding).
Payouts are made on a weekly basis to your registered bank account.
Platform fees (if any), refunds, and penalties (if applicable) will be deducted prior to payout.

7. Vendor Conduct

Vendors must:

Respond promptly to customer queries
Maintain courteous communication with customers and support
Not engage in fraudulent, harmful, or misleading practices

Repeated customer complaints or violations may result in account termination.

8. Account Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

You breach any of these Terms
Your products or behavior cause harm to customers, animals, or the DumboCart brand
You violate local laws, or receive excessive complaints

In case of termination, all pending payouts will be settled after applicable deductions.

9. Use of Data & Platform

You may not misuse the platform, access customer data for non-DumboCart purposes, or promote external websites or marketplaces through listings or messages.

10. Modifications

DumboCart may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the vendor portal after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
